Eldar Psyker Cards for Keeping track of your powers (updated with more Warlock options):

There are so many psychic powers available in so many combinations for our units that it can be a pain keeping track of what Psyker has what powers. Therefore, I put together some "Psyker Cards" that anyone can print out and laminate to keep track of who has what powers! Check them out and let me know what you think.

How these work:
So yeah, Warmachine has cards that allow you to keep track of how much damage certain models have taken along with blurbs about their rules and those cards make the game go by so much faster as it saves you the trouble of looking things up repeatedly. Well, with that idea in mind, I put together a rough template for keeping track of Wounds, Psychic Powers and in the case of Warlocks, Wargear.

Simply save the pictures to your desktop, print them out at a Kinkos at the appropriate size and have them laminated. Conversely, you can just print out multiple copies and mark them up as you go along each game. Then, each game you can use a dry erase marker to mark each power you roll for and in the case of Farseers/Spiritseers, you can keep track of wounds as well by simply marking each box as your model takes a wound. Warlocks have boxes to mark if they have a Singing Spear or Jetbike since that can be kind of confusing at times as well.

Below you will find several cards you can copy and download/modify for your own use as all of the below variations are what I believe to be comprehensive enough to allow you to adequately track your powers in a cool and meaningful way...

Farseer:

-A Farseer Card with options to select any Runes of Fate or Divination powers:

-A Farseer Card with options to select any Runes of Fate, Divination or Telepathy powers:

Spiritseer:

-A Spiritseer Card with options to select any Runes of Battle or Telepathy powers

Warlock:

-A generic Warlock Card with options to select any Runes of Battle powers rolled along with if it has a Singing Spear or Jetbike

-A Warlock to be a part of a Seer Council:

-A Warlock to be attached to a Guardian Defender Squad:

-A Warlock to be attached to a Guardian Storm Squad:

-A Warlock to be attached to a Windrider Jetbike squadron:

So yeah, I plan on printing out and laminating a set of these cards for myself and I think they are a decent template to work with if you want to copy/paste your favorite picture in the picture box area for each unit.  I hope this is a helpful/cool resource that you guys can put to good use! In the future, I might do something similar with each Psychic power available so you can print those out and have them handy for each game.

  1. Hi Yriel, great idea)
Have you seen the awesome tokens that the guy from Wobbly Model Syndrome created for Eldar spells?:) Love them (as well as all other tokens he released)

    1. Thanks for the comments Cyphus/Sersis. Also, I have not checked out those tokens before but I think they can be kind of confusing so maybe something with a graphic that says the actual power would be best? Either way, it's cool to see a lot of people putting things together for the community.

  3. Great idea. Could you put a spot on them to put some sort of indication marker for which warlock is which? Like I use 2-3 warlocks, so being able to look down and know the green robed one has such-as-such powers.

Ooo, or I could add a picture of the warlock to each card to differentiate them.

    1. Yeah, you could just put a different picture for each Warlock or keep a card near each Warlock/unit.

Conversely, maybe I could have a set of boxes along the right side numbered 1-10 to denote each Warlock? I'll try that, thanks!

    2. Nelsonus, I just updated the post with more options for Warlocks, I hope that helps with what you were looking for. Ultimately, you could always mark a number corresponding with a squad with a dry erase marker and such.

  5. Drop the wargear options for the jet bike from the guardian squad and storm squad as they are not needed and have the wind rider one Pre-ticked or marked as it would be required for inclusion in the squad. Just my 2 cents.

    1. Thank's, I'll think about how to improve them as well. However, Guardians can still get a Warlock with a Jetbike as can Storm Guardians so it's more for completeness sake. I agree about the Windrider one being pre-ticked, however, and have just updated the Windrider Warlock card to have the Jetbike being Pre-ticked.

  8. These are great! Do you have plans to do cards for other units to track rules and wounds? I'd love to be using these for my wraith knight and wraith lord to track rules and wounds. Thanks a bunch
