A "change" of pace: CSM codex and Thousand Sons at a glance: Part 1

Now that I've had time to look over the new CSM book and play some games with the army, I wanted to post some thoughts on it as a whole as well as what units I think are clear winners and losers and how I see Thousand Son armies being built in 6th. This is going to be part 1 of a series that deals with Thousand sons and will primarily be my introduction on what I think of how the CSM book handled Tzeench/Thousand Sons in general.

Eldar unit overview/analysis (Heavy Support)

Having gone over the rest of the army, this is my review and analysis of Eldar Heavy Support choices. Since some units have gotten much better, while others have stayed the same or gotten worse, I'll give a brief overview of how the individual entries transitioned into 6th with a little conclusion on each of them.

Wraithguard bonanza: taking 40 wraithguard to a tournament!?

This past weekend I went to a 2500 point tournament with a list that featured 40 Wraithguard (because I didn't have 50 or 60 to play with). This post will cover the army I brought, why Wraithguard, and the battle reports of my games.

While I've been incredibly busy with law school and neglecting the blog a bit, (finals are coming up just around the corner), I want to take a moment to say happy thanksgiving to everyone! Life has its ups and downs, its busy seasons and times when you just have too much time on your hands but we should all have things to be thankful for...If you are reading this blog, chances are your life is *A LOT* better than the majority of the world's population so be thankful for everything you have, I know I am! A "change" of pace...CSM: Thousand Sons revisited

While Eldar are my main army and I really enjoy playing them, Thousand Sons have always been a fun army for me and I've had quite a few wins under my belt with them from the 3.5 dex. Unsurprisingly, my interest in them dropped off when the previous codex ruined CSM but with 6th edition out and a new codex on the horizon, what better time to revisit Thousand Sons than now?
